Therefore you should search in the device manager in the section "network adapters" on an entry, which contains the word "TeamViewer". The thing is that you need a VPN server. Teamviewer for Windows allows you to establish a VPN between the 2 parties that are connected via teamviewer. What @c0dev suggested requires a VPN server on one of the two hosts, along with all the involved setup. I havent found a usable replacement. May 14, 2018 · 2. Updated both TeamViewer clients so application version is the same. 3. Went to network settings and disabled everything after TCP/IPv4 checkbox for TeamViewer VPN Adapter. Now it works just fine. However, those settings sometimes change automatically for some reasons (maybe Windows updates? dunno). So, if you can't connect just check once again.
